Instructions
Choose type of kit:
The Boss UmamiThe Boss
- Unbox all ingredients and put them next to your work station.
- Set your oven to 200° and preheat a frying pan on medium heat.
- Cut your buns in half and transfer them to the pan with the flat face down
- Spread your fries evenly on a baking tray with baking paper - transfer to the middle rack in the oven. They are going to cook for approximately 10 minutes.
- Open all the condiments boxes and get your cheese and put it all next to your stove.
- Check if the buns have formed a golden brown crust underneath. If so, remove them from the pan.
- Wipe your pan free from any bread crumbs and turn the heat up to high.
- Open up the vacuum bags with patties. Do NOT squeeze or form the meat too much so they lose juice or change structure. If the patties are very moist on the surface - pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Season both sides of the patty with a good amount of salt and pepper. Add half a tablespoon of neutral cooking oil (canola, sunflower etc) to the preheated pan - when it starts to smoke the pan is ready!
- Add the patties to your pan and push down on them with your spatula or a saucepan to increase surface contact and let fry for 3-4 minutes so it has time to form a nice crust.
- Flip the burgers and first add the cheese, the onions and finally the fried mushrooms. The condiments should be evenly spread on the patty. Take the entire frying pan and place it in the bottom of your preheated oven. Work fast to not overcook the burger.
- After 3 minutes remove the pan from the oven (beware that the handle is hot!) - but let the fries stay. If you want a well done burger then let it continue for a few minutes more. Remove the burgers from the pan and let them rest on the cutting board.
- Spread your bun with the chipotle mayo on top and bottom - and your meat is ready to meet the bun. Place the meat with all condiments on the bottom bun and place the lid on top of the patty.
- Remove the fries from the oven (they should have been in for around 10 min now) and season with salt.
Voilà! Now you are ready to gobble down on some awesome home cooked Kverneriet burgers - enjoy!
Umami
- Unbox all ingredients and put them next to your work station.
- Set your oven to 200° and preheat a frying pan on medium heat.

- Open up the vacuum bags with patties. Do NOT squeeze or form the meat too much so they lose juice or change structure. If the patties are very moist on the surface - pat them dry with a paper towel.
(If you have selected veggie patty skip to 11) - Season both sides of the patty with a good amount of salt and pepper.
- Flip the burgers and first add the onion chutney, shiitake mushrooms and finally the semi-dried tomatoes - evenly spread on the patty. Save the parmesan crisp for the assembly of the burger. Take the entire frying pan and place it in the bottom of your preheated oven. Work fast to not overcook the burger.
(If veggie: put you patty on a baking tray with the condiments on top of it (except for the parmesan crisp) - and cook in the oven for 5 minutes) - After 3 minutes remove the pan from the oven (beware that the handle is hot!) - but let the fries stay. If you want a well done burger then let it continue for a few minutes more. Remove the burgers from the pan and let them rest on the cutting board.
- Spread your bottom bun with chili mayo and your top bun with ketchup. Your meat is ready to meet the bun! Place the meat with all condiments on the bottom bun and then put the parmesan crisp on top. Finally add the top bun.
- Remove the fries from the oven (they should have been in for around 10 min now) and season with salt.
Voilà! Now you are ready to gobble down on some awesome home cooked Kverneriet burgers - enjoy!
